Sarah Davis is a young artist celebrated for her “great pathos and handsome tones” (Boston Musical Intelligencer).

Sarah's operatic career includes roles like Countess Almaviva in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro, Rosalinde in Strauss II's Die Fledermaus, and Erste Dame in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte. She made her professional debut with North Carolina Opera in 2022, and has continued to work with companies such as Palm Beach Opera (Chorus), Music On Site,Inc. (Rosalinde), and NEMPAC Opera Project (Countess). She has received Encouragement Awards from the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition (2020 and 2021) and was named a winner of the The American Prize in Vocal Performance (2023).

She frequently appears as a concert soloist, performing works by composers such as Mozart, Bach, Handel, and Mendelssohn. An accomplished recitalist, Sarah earned the Willis Patterson Award from the George Shirley Vocal Competition for her work in art song.
Originally from Boynton Beach, FL, she began her musical journey at the acclaimed Bak Middle School of the Arts and Dreyfoos High School of the Arts. Sarah earned her Bachelor of Music from Palm Beach Atlantic University under Marilyn Mims, where she was recognized as an Outstanding Graduate in Music, before completing a Master of Music and a Performance Diploma at the Boston University Opera Institute under Penelope Bitzas. At the Institute, she performed notable roles such as Beth March in Adamo's "Little Women", Die Frau in Schönberg's "Erwartung", and Selena in Heggie's "If I Were You". She was also honored as a winner of the Boston University Soloist Competition, culminating in a performance of Alban Berg’s Sieben frühe Lieder with the Boston University Symphony Orchestra.

Most recently, she spent the summer as a Vocal Fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center studying under esteemed faculty such as Dawn Upshaw, Margo Garrett, Randall Scarlata, Tony Arnold, and Will Liverman.
